It was night one of my 2,000+ mile ride to the GET YOUR REAR IN GEAR 5K in Des Moines, IA. The event is bright and early Saturday morning. I left the San Francisco Bay area yesterday(Wednesday) at 3:30 PM.

I wanted to make it to the Salt Lake city area last night. I was not able to make that happen. I faded big time somewhere west of Elko, Nevada on Interstate 80. I decided to pull over my road show at a rest area and made my bed on a picnic table. I hit the wall energy-wise. The night before I was up all night working on the new website so it could go live yesterday. And as I’m sure you noticed, it did.

As you can see in the photos. No four star hotels on this ride. I’m riding on fumes in more ways than one on this ride. And nope, no tent. I know how to live it up on the road.

GOOOOD MORNING GT AND TRUCKERS.

GOOD MORNING MULTI GT AND TRUCKERS.

MY MORNING McD OFFICE

MY MORNING McD OFFICE

I’m watching a man walk across the McDonald’s parking in a hospital gown now. Gotta love McD’s. You never know what the hell you’re going to see. Much like a stroll through Walmart.

Anyway, gotta hit the road now. VRRRRROOOOOM
